Water System Update – September 2025
Indian Hill Water System Update June 2025
WATER SYSTEM UPDATE
September 2025
Since our last update in August, the Village has continued work on critical water system issues with its consultants AECOM and Tetra Tech.
At the August 18, 2025 Council meeting, AECOM presented the first of two Council assigned projects:
- GIS (Geographic Information System) Site Analysis – Evaluating potential water storage sites across the Village, considering professionally recognized factors like proximity to residences, distance to water mains, tower height, population density, tree cover and other items. AECOM’s presentation and documents are on the Village’s website at https://indianhill.gov/aecom-presentation-august-18-2025
AECOM is also finalizing its second project:
- Miami Road Evaluation – Assessing options for continued use of the Village’s current tower site located on Miami Road, including resiliency improvements or alternatives.
NEXT STEPS
- September 15, 2025 Council Meeting (6:30 p.m.) – AECOM will present to Council its Miami Road Evaluation
- October 20, 2025 Council Meeting (6:30 p.m.) – Tetra Tech will present to Council the Ohio EPA (OEPA) required PFAS Facility General Plan which includes a regionalization analysis.
Village Council continues to review these studies as it evaluates the future of the community’s water system. Both presentations will be accessible on the Village’s website for public review as soon as it is feasible. As always, please refer to https://indianhill.gov/community-engagement/ for information related to the community engagement process.
Your feedback remains essential as we work toward safe, reliable, and affordable water consistent with the best interests and traditions of our community.
Sincerely,
Dina C. Minneci
