Indian Hill Water System Update October 2025
WATER SYSTEM UPDATE
October 2025
Since our last update in September, the Village has continued work on critical water system issues with its consultants AECOM and Tetra Tech.
At the August 18, 2025 and September 15, 2025 Council meetings, AECOM presented the following:
- GIS (Geographic Information System) Site Analysis– A comprehensive evaluation and ranking of potential water storage locations throughout the Village. The analysis considered key professional factors such as proximity to residences, distance to existing water mains, tower height, population density, tree cover and other relevant criteria (August 18, 2025). View the presentation.
- Miami Road Evaluation – An assessment of options for the Village’s current tower site on Miami Road, including potential improvements to or replacement of the current tower. (September 15, 2025). View the presentation.
NEXT STEPS
- October 20, 2025 Council Meeting (6:30 p.m.) – Tetra Tech presented the Ohio EPA (OEPA) required PFAS Facility General Plan, including a detailed regionalization analysis. This presentation is accessible on the Village website. Click Here for Presentation and other important documents.
Village Council will continue to review each of these studies as it evaluates the future of the community’s water system. Your feedback remains essential as we work toward safe, reliable, and affordable water consistent with the best interests and traditions of our community.
Sincerely,
Dina C. Minneci
