IHSC Membership Badges Are Required
All IHSC family members are now required to show their membership badges when checking in to use the pistol/rifle ranges and the shotgun fields. The badges must be worn at all times while using the IHSC facilities. If your badge has an expired sticker on it, merely go to the IHSC during normal hours of operation and the range personnel will be happy to update your badge with a valid sticker. If you do not have a badge, you can schedule a time to pick-up your badge at the Skeet Clubhouse by clicking the Reservation button below.
Electronic Security Gate Installed at the Pistol/Rifle Ranges
In cooperation with the Indian Hill Rangers, a security gate has been installed at the entrance to the IHSC Pistol/Rifle ranges near Glendale-Milford Road. This gate will provide additional security and discourage trespassing on both properties.
All current 2023-24 Indian Hill Shooting Club members are being issued electronic key cards which look identical to the current membership badges. These new badges are easily identified by a serial number on the reverse side of the badge in the lower right corner. The gate is opened by placing the badge to the keypad. The gate will open automatically open when exiting. Members who have yet to receive their new electronic badge should contact the IHSC Manager, Dick Steuerwald at [email protected] prior to visiting the pistol/rifle ranges. A similar security gate for the entrance to the shotgun fields at Gate #1 is planned for installation in early 2025.
Archery Comes to the Indian Hill Shooting Club!
The Indian Hill Shooting Club is VERY EXCITED to announce the addition of ARCHERY to the shooting sports offered at the IHSC! This new, never-before-done program answers the request for more programing, delivers additional utilization of the grounds and addresses the thriving number of bow hunters and recreational archers in the Village.
The archery program begins on August 21st and will run on Monday evenings as a pilot program through November. The lower range features eight shooting lanes with 3D hunting targets and block targets at distances appropriate for hunting target practice – 20, 30, & 40yds. There is also great flexibility to adjust target distances to meet demand.
The upper range will allow for special, simulated hunting experience events. Those walking “hunts” will be scheduled and announced as the program advances and gains momentum. The projected 2024 archery season would then run March through November to match the Ohio hunting seasons.
A youth and beginner instructional program is being considered as the program develops, if there is interest from the membership base.
