Rate Increase Effective April 1, 2021

The Indian Hill Shooting Club has been a unique Village benefit and resource to the community for many decades and continues to thrive in the face of current events. Flourishing membership growth is driving the IHSC into the future.

In 2020, the Indian Hill Shooting Club Board of Advisors conducted a nine-month study to develop a long range strategic plan for the IHSC. This “2020 Initiative – In Search of First Class” brought to light the need for additional programing, educational opportunities and facility improvements, all to enhance and add to the experiential benefit of the IHSC members.

Programing will include activities such as skeet, five-stand leagues and “non-intimating” pistol/rifle competitions for adults and youth. Facility improvements include paving the drives, construction of the new Five-Stand Pavilion, and cosmetic improvements to the exteriors of the two main buildings. New photo ID membership cards will begin on April 1st for the 2021 – 22 year to improve member check-in and pride in belonging.

To facilitate these much needed improvements and additional benefits, resident memberships will increase by $75 to $200 annually and non-resident memberships will increase to $275 annually, starting with the 2021 – 2022 membership year. While the cost of operation has increased every year, there has not been an increase in annual IHSC membership fees in nearly three decades.

Residents of the Village of Indian Hill are encouraged to join the IHSC at any time. There is currently a waiting list for those living outside of the Village who are interested in joining.

For additional information on the Indian Hill Shooting Club or questions concerning membership, you may contact the IHSC Supervisor, Dick Steuerwald, at DSteuerwald@indianhill.gov.
