Recommendations were received from members of Council and Village staff. The VAC was set up to serve as a bridge between the community and the Village. Members were identified and recommended based on a variety of factors, including their professional backgrounds and demonstrated involvement in the Indian Hill community. The VAC is comprised of a diverse group of residents, with backgrounds including engineering, finance, law, land use, environmental science, and civic leadership.
The VAC was tasked with gaining a deep knowledge of the history of Indian Hill Water, understanding the current realities and challenges the community faces when it comes to water, and provide a report to Village Council to assist in its decision-making process. The report incorporates analyzing the feedback, ideas, and commentary provided by the community at large via town halls, meetings, and public surveys.
