Throughout the day and evening on March 16, 2020, state officials worked to determine if the 2020 Primary Election would take place.
At 10:08 p.m. on March 16, 2020, Governor DeWine postponed the State of Ohio Primary Election after declaring the coronavirus situation a “health emergency”. Polls will not be opened today – March 17, 2020. Please refer to the Hamilton County Board of Elections and the Ohio Secretary of State websites for further information.
