The Public Safety organizations of Indian Hill are actively monitoring and participating in strategies to minimize the effects of the COVID-19 Outbreak. We would like to convey information that we believe to be accurate to keep our community safe in this crisis.
While much of the actual disease and its transmission methods are being studied, we know that our reaction must be focused on prevention. We cannot stress enough the importance of practicing good hygiene and sanitation measures at home, work or school.
Prevention measures can be found at the Center for Disease Control, Ohio Department of Public Health, Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency. The following websites will provide measures you can take to help keep you and your family safe:
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – Coronavirus Disease 2019
Ohio Department of Health – COVID-19 Resources for Local Health Ohio
Hamilton County Public Health Coronavirus Information
Be assured that the Madeira & Indian Hill Fire Joint Fire District and the Indian Hill Rangers have been, and will continue to be, in constant contact with other neighboring departments and county officials to ensure effective communication.
We will continue to monitor the situation and develop ongoing city and county plans as needed. Emergency Operating Plans (EOP’s) have been established for situations such as this and include several mutual aid agreements with other communities and agencies. No interruption of services is expected within the Village.
