WATER SYSTEM UPDATE

November 2025

At the November 17, 2025 Council meeting, Village Council presented a statement defining the long-term water needs of Indian Hill.

After reviewing technical information, community feedback, and the recommendations of independent consultants, Council has determined that the Village will continue to operate its existing water supply and distribution system and move forward with planning for a new water tower at the current Miami Road location.  In addition, the Village will continue pursuing the necessary steps to build a PFAS remediation facility adjacent to the Water Works site on State Route 126.

Over the coming months, the Village will:

  • Engage with impacted residents on Miami Road
  • Secure required approvals and confirm available third-party funding
  • Engage leading project management and design resources
  • Keep residents informed through Council updates and on our website
  • Continue open communications

Council is confident these actions best serve the Village now and in the future. This course is not expected to be altered unless new, material information arises.

Council extends its sincere appreciation to all residents who provided input throughout this process. Your participation, questions, and feedback were invaluable in helping guide this decision.

Sincerely,

Dina C. Minneci

City Manager
