City Ordinances
An ordinance is a law or regulation formally enacted by the Council of the City of the Village of Indian Hill in accordance with the terms set forth in the City Charter and with State of Ohio laws. From time to time, the ordinances that are of a general and permanent nature of the city are codified. That is, they are collected, arranged and consolidated into component codes, titles, chapters, and sections, and are published in an organized manner based on an adaptation of the decimal numbering system in accord with the best accepted practice in instituting a codification. Supplements are published in between full codifications to add new legislation to the code.
The on-line codification through the American Legal Publishing Corporation website provides residents with a body of current, enforceable laws, in a way that makes the code easy to use and reference. The on-line version may, occasionally, differ from the official version and should only be relied upon for convenience and general information purposes. Any errors or omissions should be reported to the Village Clerk. In no event shall the City of the Village of Indian Hill be liable for damages of any nature, direct or indirect, arising from the use of this service.
The official version and copies of City ordinances can be obtained from the office of the Village Clerk, located in the City Administration building, 6525 Drake Road, Cincinnati, OH 45239. Should you have any questions after viewing a specific section of the Code, please feel free to contact our offices at (513) 561-6500.
